Joyas Voladores

When the Spanish arrived in the New World, they called the hummingbird, "Joyas Voladores" or Flying Jewels. The French called them "Oiseau Mouche or Flower Bird. I think both equally apply to hummingbirds. They have an amazing variety of colors and are graceful in their search of nector amongst the flowers.
